I want to pick a second phone number for my VOIP line. The issue is that I live 200 miles away from home....my bride-to-be is from the same area, but is from a different city. The local calling area allows for some numbers to be available in surrounding cities and I'm trying to find a number that might be local to both cities since they're a mere 32 miles apart. Does anyone know of the best way to find which numbers will work for both cities? The cities are Kingsport, TN and Elizabethton, TN... Thanks-

Yeah...I think Sprint is the dominant local carrier there. I may try giving them a call...I just don't know if they'll want to help me if they find out I'm doing this for VOIP. I was hoping there would be a good website that displayed that kind of information and listed the prefixes that would work.

Hmm...the area code that matches those two areas is 423, however, none of the prefixes line up so I am not sure where to go from there. Are you using sunrocket?
