I am tring to pick a case and I like these, but I know that for most cases I will have to buy a PSU from Antec. I want to save some money but I dont want a really cheap case.

Logisys Phantom

Thermaltake Soprano

Xion II

I might be doing SLI later on but not as soon as i build my computer but I want to have a PSU that will work with it so please help. Or I might not but thats needs to be looked into more.

if you're just gonna replace the power supply get a better case than both of those. look at an antec 3000 b.

I think the Thermaltake would be the pick, because I think they make pretty good PSU.

Anybody ever had a problem with a PSU from them???

ya I also suggest the Antec 3000b for that price range and that it doesn't have a power supply so you can pick your own or use one you are using.

You can get the antec sonata with a 380W antec PSU for $99 (and with the mail-in rebate it's only $69) at newegg.

Otherwise, you could look for an antec super lanboy, bundled with a PSU. Newegg doesnt have them, but I have seen them before.

the 3 cases you listed suck....well, at least the companies themselves are known to be sucky. go antec.

Get the Soprano, out of those cases. But Id actually look for something else. Anything from Antec is always good.

EDIT: From what Ive seen of ThermalTake cases in person, expect the paint job to be very glossy, but not as smooth and reflective as the pictures. It doesnt look as good in person.

well i have read that the case from Thermaltake is a very good case, looks and cooling wise from 5 reviews on line. I have also read that the PSU works great, that the only real concern I have is the PSU that comes with it. I like the Thermaltake Case. i have not seen a Antec case that I like with a PSU with it for around the same price. sorry guys

The soprano is actually not too bad of a case, the rear fan pulls some serious air, and the included power supply is enough for my friends 3800+, 6800GT and 2 harddrives/2DVD drives.
However, putting it together was a bit of a pain, that "toolless" design just doesn't work with the drive cages for some reason.

Thanks, The Sly Syl, I think it will be a good case, I am looking at that case as being the one i really want. Since i have read all the good reviews about how it cools very well and it comes with PSU which looks very nice coming from Thermaltake.

I am looking at putting this into it.

Thermaltake Soprano VB1430BWS Black Steel/Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 430W Power Supply

MSI K8N Neo4/SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Leadtek PX6600GT TDH Geforce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3000BPBOX

CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model VS1GBKIT40

Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380817AS 80GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive
OR THE 160GB

All from newegg.com for $684

I know there a huge thread on here about SLI and I think its a good idea for someone who can afford one 6600GT now and then maybe a few months from now get another one and you should have a great system.

Thermaltake does not make quality PSU's nor do they make good cases (imo for the cases).

Get an antec if your looking to get it bundled or there are many options if you were willing to buy the 2 seperetaly.

Well I will be looking more into this but I must say the reviews that I have read all have said that Thermaltake make good cases. But I will look into this more. But I have read about every review I can find about this case and I have not read one bad thing about it but right here in this forum. But thanks for the help.

But I must say if I dont want a side window that I do like the Antec Life Style SONATA Piano Black with the 380Watt PSU

If you like the style of the soprano, check off the wavemaster (looks so close I sweare thermaltake copied it). But go for whatever you want. If your happy then that's all that matters I suppose.

Oh, i have to say - he has a Nforce 3 system, so, he didn't need the 24pin power supply (He already had the 6800GT AGP) - that might make a difference.

Quite honestly, I prefer the Antec cases that i've used myself.
