I just picked this beauty up from my buddy and all I can say is WOW..one of the most beautiful monitor I've seen and used in many many years! I will be posting some pics this weekend. In the meantime if you guys have any questions, please feel free to ask me. SInce I am not a pro reviewer without any caliberation tool, I am going to just play some games, WMVHD movies, DVDs to test its ability.

So far, the text is razor sharp and the backlight is extremely uniform!

Hi Qianglong, I'm thinking of getting the l220x.

Just a bit concerned about the pixel density, how far away from the screen do you normally sit? Have you had to use a high-dpi mode in your operating system?

I'm mainly going to be using the monitor for programming (hence the large resolution requirement - I need a lot of code on screen at once) and don't want to get a large TN panel because of the viewing angle (the distance I sit away from the monitor you can start to notice even dead on to it).

I do some graphics work - but nothing that would demand an S-IPS panel, and to be honest the contrast of an S-PVA will be better for text which will be the primary focus.

How easy is it to calibrate without a professional calibration system? I've heard out of the box it seems very over-saturated (because of the wide gamut)?
