I'm a bit late on the pictures from the holidays but here they are! I picked it up on Tuesday and I love it so far. All of my friends got new cars this month including a GMC Yukon, a Lexus GS350, Lexus IS 250, Accord Sport, and they all were telling me how awesome my car looks. When I told them I was getting it in blue, they didn't think it was gonna turn out nice but they told me that it completely changed their mind!
Next up, getting a 15% tint all around and I ordered my BavSound replacement speakers. Down the line I will be getting Stage 1 tune.
First impressions? The car is much faster than I thought. I kept testing driving 435i's at the Ultimate Driving Event so I thought that the 428i was gonna be a huge step down. I was wrong. This thing flies. I've never used the tiptronic on any of my other cars but I find myself driving in manual more often than not.
I got the standard Hi-Fi sound and after reading through different BMW forums I was expecting the worst. It is actually not that bad at all. The sound starts distorting over 75% volume but it's definitely not a deal breaker. However, I do love my music and for $400 I couldn't turn down the BavSound.
My one regret? Not getting the damn backup camera. I chose the wrong area to save money lol. Oh well it's a lease.
That's my old Civic that I replaced with this beauty for comparison
