Sorry for imageshack..

I took it up to the mountains for the first time this weekend. I'm an experienced sportbike rider, and found some interesting correlations between the riding a sportbike and driving a performance car.

With a motorcycle your main skill is being able to determine corner speed. You really don't use your steering inputs nearly as much as in a car, and assuming other variables (body positioning, tires, etc etc) are equal the faster rider is the one who can judge corner speeds the best.

I've found this translates over to the car very well.. Granted I didn't play with DSC off, I was in sport mode while up there (more aggressive throttle input and loosens up traction control) and really had a great time. I passed a couple of LEOs runnning almost full tilt mid corner and both ignored me.

Because the z4 M is no longer made. I want to say it's final year was 2009 or maybe early 2010.

Nice car! Last of the naturally aspired high strung inline 6's :(

i like the M versions of these. But i love that Z3 version. That hatch, shoe-looking car is just ballz for me.

I'm not a fan of the looks in that generation.

Current hard top vert generation is gorgeous though. They will be undoubtably come out with an M later...

Just got rid of my M coupe at the end of July. LOVED it. Wish I didn't have to but needed to get into something practical.

Nope, its a M coupe, more like Z4 M.

Z4 M Coupe. Lotta people called it the M coupe and the Z4 coupe the BMW coupe.

Ther Z4 M is the M version of the roadster.

Then you have the Z4 and Z4 Coupe...non M with their respective engines.

How does this car compare to a 135i? The seem to be very similar with power and size.

The old m3 engine vs the new turbo engine. The potential with a chip on the 135/335 is unbelievable. You may want to look up the HPFP issue with the turbo however. On the other hand, the S54 is a tried and true motor. People have put tons of miles on it.

One thing I have to say though...if you're a person that cares, the Z4 coupe gets a ton of "WOW WTF IS THAT?". This is in LA/Newporthere Beach which isn't exactly now. You won't get that in a 1.
