Picked up an Audigy Gamer for my new rig. What speakers should I buy?

There are logitechs coming out soon, don't know the model # but they got an excellent review and some say they are better than the klipch at 1/2 the price. Plus from what I've read, Klipsch's subwoofers break easily.

As a proud Klipsch owner, I'd have to say go with the Klipsch. Regarding the logitech's, I've only seen one review of them. I'd wait till some one else had reviewed them, or even better, until you can compare the sound from either of them yourself, which is really the best test.

Yes, but arent those Klipsh just 4.1 ?
If You are going to use DVD then I would still recommend to go with a 5.1 speaker set.
I have 4.1 myself and think that in DVD it actually sucks. You need real 5.1 and since Audigy has the decoder, look for some kind of Creative labs speakers, that do not require the decoder unit, since the 5.1 and DTS decoder is already in the Audigy itself.

Surely any reasonable quality home-cinema system will stuff the best computer speakers. Hop on over to www.richersounds.com / Speakers / Speaker Packages. Eltax C205 for £59.95 will kick the crap out of any computer 'multimedia' speaker system. Hey, they're floor-standing, but a fraction of the price!
