I got the display model with an i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD with the 1080P screen. I talked them into giving it to me for $910 after tax.
I like it but am wondering if the HP Spectre is worth an extra couple hundred for a better overall quality product. The biggest selling points are the better keyboard and battery life. Anyone spent any time with the 2 of these? I don't like that the Acer has a tendency for image retention, even after only 15-20 minutes of a static image (ex the top of the browser window). It's also got mediocre touchpad sensitivity... then again, the Spectre's touchpad also seems to be unliked, based on reviews
Originally I was torn between the XPS13 and Spectre but jumped on this deal b/c of the good price/hardware value. Now that I've had it a couple of days, I've grown very, very fond of having a laptop and very capable tablet... if the XPS 13 were a convertible, I'd go with it in a heartbeat!
