$8!!!

I paid about $40 for a clone battery about 2 years ago. The name of the clone escapes me at the moment, but it is one of the leading names in aftermarket batteries. It would seem that without the "M" (memory) funtion, the F717 doesn't like it. I guess they've now overcome that problem, but it amazes me that these things are down to $8! I've got two of the Sony's currently (the clone went with my 707, since it worked together) and Sony's were about $99 back then. Amazing!

Hey Ornery! Glad you're still having the success you do with your 707. It's a great cam and an incredible lens.
