From a friend of mine and so far it's pretty damn decent. He wanted 225 but i talked him down to 150.. Man must have really been desperate. 🙂

Woot Woot Number 1 baby with a 760 by a wide margin

Love hearing stories about people getting great deals on new tech. Congrats!! That overclock screams. What's the voltage? Honestly, grab a 2nd HD6870 and forget 2600k!

1.3v russian. At 85% fan and those speeds it doesn't even go over 66C in BC2 with 99% GPU usage. Pretty awesome cooler to say the least and it's whisper quiet.

Only problem with grabbing another is the freakin card is 269.99 on the egg. It's the most expensive 6870 available. I want a second card but i'll wait till i can get one in the 220 range.

Good to hear the fan is quiet. I will keep that in mind next time I am videocard shopping (Last generation I was torn between the MSI GTX260 216 and the HD4890. I went with the 4890 and it was pretty loud at load). 1.3V seems pretty reasonable. The stock voltage on those cards is what 1.175V? Then you are about 10-11% over stock voltage. That's not bad.

I hate buying reference cooling anymore. Always loud and obnoxious. Stock vid is 1.187 so the jump to 1.3v isn't bad at all.

I've been waiting for a GTX 570 Twin Frozer II but i haven't seen anything about them.

so you lowball'd your desperate friend?? errr, congrats on the steal though

I was waiting on the 560's to it to sell my X2's but a friend had this so i went for it. Best part is that when the 560's hit i'll ell this card for a profit... maybe 200 shipped :whiste:

One of the best, if not THE best, custom coolers that already come assembled on a graphics card. Congratulations on an excellent purchase!
