Nice looking bike. PO swapped in the front forks/tubes/wheel from an 1978 F model with caliper mountds from an 82 F model, and calipers from an 82 magna to give it dual discs up front.

Came with the original exhausts that have some holes in them, so I'm going to be shopping around for someone to get them fixed and back on the bike. For the time being it has a 4 into 1 off an F model with a cbr1000xx muffler that is nearly silent and kinda restrictive. I really can't wait to get the 4 into 4 back o, but I'm not sure where to take the pipes to get fixed around here.

18kmiles, new tires.

Unlike my old 75 cb550, the wiring is all pristine and everything works, has a dyna pointless setup too, as well as the original spoked wheel, forks and everything to take the front end back to stock.

Doesn't V&H still make 4-1 pipes for your bike?
That is if you like a 4-1 setup for that model.

The 4 into one on it now will work for a bit. I prefer the stock pipes, I'm a little nervous about putting them on, simply because they are so hard to find anymore.

Mac and Kerker both make setups for the bike, but nothing comes with a 4 into 4 anymore, and I hear it's a unique sound. I haven't seen too many old cb's around here and of the ones I've seen, none still have the orig pipes.

Takes an old guy like me back to the days...........

I had an early seventies 750. Put dual disks on it too. Had a really spongy feel to the front brakes no matter how much I bled it. Then I finally figured out that I needed a master cylinder from a dual disk system. Fixed it right up.

that pic reminds me of my old bike I sold in 2000.

I had a 1971 Honda CB750. It had a 4 into 1 header on it instead of the original exhaust. I liked that bike. Nothing like a big inline 4.

I just wish I could have obtained the electronic ignition conversion kit for it.
