You may not like his positions on issues, but I've seen him on CSpan doing committee work on military issues. The guy was super prepared. In questioning those who testified he was very fair, really drilled down into the issues to get a good understanding. A very astute, very quick study with good communication shills.

But he has no ability as a campaigner.

He sounds like someone who would bang on people's doors to find witches and heretics to burn.

I don't think the script works right. I differ with Paul on 4 KEY issues, 2 important and 1 meh. Obama I differ on only 2 key issues, 2 important and 1 meh.

Edit: re-ran because I somehow missed the Patriot act question before, which is most definately key. Which makes 3 key issues differ from Obama.

Btw, I have no opinion on the current candidates and won't invest myself until we are about 3 - 4 months from the election.

It put me for Paul at the top. I've never even heard of him. That's the media for you, no one gets exposure except for the people that they want to expose to you. 2nd was McCain, which I can understand, I like him. Actually Paul and McCain have the same number, so it could go either way.

Just noticed there's no Fred Thompson on this list. You know, the guy who is campaigning around the country to tell people that he hasn't decided yet whether to campaign?

*edit* Ok Fred Thompson came up in my results, but he isn't in the matrix from 2decide.com. Now why is that?

lol @ everyone's high marks for kucinich. I thought we only had moderates in here?

Or, as another poster said, perhaps the survey biased towards kucinich

Given the questions asked (and not asked), I'm pretty sure the survey is biased.

I got Paul at the top, followed by (*drumroll*) Kucinich and the other Dems, and then all the Pubs were deeply in the red. I chuckled that Romney was the lowest at -45, as he's the one candidate I wouldn't vote for even if the Dems gave Satan the nod. :p

kucinich, gravel, obama. Agreed on not voting for Romney, even if the Dems nominated Chen... I mean Satan.

Not to worry. Somewhere I posted that I'm convinced Romney is Satan. The guy gives me the absolute creeps. ;)

Yaknow, thinking of Kucinich, last week's Willamette Week had a dripping sarcasm comment in their "Winners and Losers" column that just made me laugh and cry at the same time. Here it is: Text
Good news, peaceniks : Portland?s City Council passed a resolution in favor of a federal Peace Department. And don?t call it meaningless: In Washington, Bush resigned immediately. In Iraq U.S. forces passed out bouquets and the mujahideen converted their RPGs into plowshares. And in Afghanistan, the opium crop was bountiful. All hail Kucinich, president for life!
