Rogues have some excellent buffs in the expansion.


I too, have returned to WoW in anticipation of the Burning Crusade. I'll be rolling a shaman (horde side) and man... are they getting raped on the 60+ spells and talents so far.

There were other factors. I was tired of the alliance... the horde has its share of kids, but the alliance seems to have nothing but. And some friends had returned from an extended break, encouraging me to pick my shaman back up. I tried the 2 mains thing for a while, but especially being on a different server, different faction & in a different guild it was just too much.

I feel no regret. It makes excellent sense; if rogues were able to pull their weight in PvE by doing more damage than classes who do things other than just damage, they'd be too powerful in PvP. So a balance was struck between the two. Some people don't mind, but I'd rather be a full power class, not something diluted for the greater balance picture.

I think Rogue is a lot more fun but Warrior has greater utility.

Pick the class that would allow you to run around in a bathrobe yelling "LIGHTNING BOLT! LIGHTNING BOLT!" That would rule.

If you pick a Rogue you'll have a tough time finding groups.

If you pick a warrior you can tank but you'll want to be prot specced which is really boring or You could wing it being a Hybrid warrior cross between a fury and arms warrior.

I would take the priest can find groups with no problem
