Hendricks. That's one I've always wanted to try. I'm not a big gin drinker, but Bombay is my goto for when I'm in a gin mood.

I like Bombay Sapphire. It beats regular Tanqueray all day long, IMHO, but I've never tried Tanqueray Ten or Hendricks.

What is your primary drink?

Gin and tonic = New Amsterdam mainly since it is decent and affordable.

Martinis = Get the hendricks. It has an interesting flavor in it that was great when you want to drink it straight.

New Amsterdam is WAY better than both Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray Ten. Never had Hendrick's, but New Amsterdam is wonderful. Especially for the price.

I'd say New Amsterdam. Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray Ten are both way overrated.

Beefeater. Spending more than that and you're just hitting diminishing returns.

there is no Boodles in your poll, so I'm not voting.
:colbert:

(out of those, Hendrick's, easily) I think Sapphire is meh.

Recently I've been drinking Ten over sapphire. My new fas svorites though are 12 Bridges and Aviation. Ransom's old tom gin is good too but its very different and probably not for everyone.

My freezer right now:

Sapphire
Ten
Aviation
12 Bridges
Hendricks
Plymouth (boring)
Ransom

Viper GTS

Bomb Sapphire is a favorite of mine and tastes great. I can understand the hate though because not all people like the botanicals up the noses this has. Boodle's is also excellent. I have both in my fridge.

I don't drink gin much but Tanqueray is my goto for G&T's.

So far for me too

Gin and Tonics normally if I'm out of tonic water i'll reach for ginger ale

I usually have either Tanqueray or Bombay for my G&Ts. I've always wanted to try Hendricks because I hear it's very good, but can't get myself to spend the money for it.

Cork Dry Gin if you can get your hands on it. My (2nd) cousin in Ireland turned me on to it when I was visiting and I enjoyed it a lot. I don't think I've ever seen it in a US liquor store though...might be able to get it at a Duty Free if you or someone you know is traveling internationally.

I switch up between Bombay Saphire and Tanqueray, I love them both.

Any regular fans of Bombay or Tanq have any opinions about Tanqueray 10? I've seen it but have yet to try it.

I love me some gin. I've always been more of a clear liquors kind of guy - gin and vodka are my standbys. I despise all plain rums (silver or dark), but I do enjoy me some spiced rum (Sailor Jerry or Captain Morgan). Small-batch vanilla rum is just about the only "regular" rum that I like, and it's hard to come by unless stopping by some Caribbean islands. Don't even put Whiskey or Scotch near me, never been a big fan.
Clear, or I'm going back to beer that's heavy on the malt.

Funny, I love the perfumes of a good Gin, but I canno stand the perfumes of a hoppy beer. :D I need my high-malts.

Tanq is still my favorite. I keep branching out and trying new ones, but I always end up back with it.

Hendrick's is my favorite gin hands down. You really should try it.

edit: Why are you letting the price of a bottle get in the way of trying new gins? Don't you have any topshelf bars in your area? There's this french restaurant I always meet my parents at, and it's an excellent place to try out new stuff because the bar tenders are excellent.
