Finishing up my associates at University of Phoenix, and I want to go to another school. I'm look at two, but I can't find any information on them as far as reviews and the like.

Art Institute Online - Pennsylvania
Westwood College

Anyone have any experience with friends or themselves? Thinking about going to one of them. I don't have the chance to go to a ground campus, and this is going to be paid for by the Navy, not my parents. I'm not looking for a degree--just classes to further my expertise in 3DS Max.

Rhode Island School of Design!! You're military, you'd fit right in!!

It has to be an online college though, that's the thing.

you're better off spending cash on a set of tutorial dvds. Very few design programs are truly worthwhile these days - if you're serrious about it, go to a hardcore design school. Really anything less is likely to be a waste of time.

I'm absolutey serious about it, but I'm here in Ingleside, TX. Not much of a choice to go anywhere else, and I want to start doing stuff now. I've been eyeing the tutorial material offered by Discreet as well. I would like to see how I would learn under instruction, and not self-taught as I've been doing so far.
