I need some ideas for a new hobby for me and the wife. We both have tons of hobbies, but nothing that we can learn together. I've thought about learning a forgein language or something like that, but that's about all I can come up with.

No real guidelines on what we want to do, just something inexpensive that we can do together. Any of you guys have a hobby that you share with the wife?

What about ballroom, swing or salsa dancing... that is something you can learn together and then go out and have a good time with.

1. Find a mirror
2. Break the mirror (ignore the whole luck thing, live a little)
3. You and wifey glue pieces of mirror to wall in a pattern

I had a roommate do this once and thought it looked very cool.

Does it have to be a hobby? Can it just be an activity that you do together? How bout helping out at a children's hospital or something?

golf or tennis.

my GF is far from athletic, but she LOVES to go to the driving range. i don't really wanna take her out on a course, not yet atleast, but she loves to go and just hit the ball at the range. she also enjoys playing tennis with me, but she's not very good at it. it's not that fun to play against her because of her skills, but its fun to play with her still because i hit it real easy to her and she can hit it back and enjoys doing that. but if i try to really play her, then yea, its not fun.

but its a good way to spend time outdoors together. or try biking? however don't bike where there are a lot of hills, girls dont like this, i know from saturday when i went biking w/my GF heh :)

that, or take up firearms. added bonus of home security, possible drawbacks include: increased consequences for cheating on the woman.

Trying to think of more couple friendly activities....preferably ones that last more than once :). Hehe, if you have the space you could try body painting. That could be interpreted as painting on each other's body's or getting a big canvas and dousing each other with paint and then "rolling around" ;) on the canvas. Either one could be fun, but if you go with painting on each other's bodies then at least once you have mastered it have a "body art" party where you or both of you go topless except for the body art you did to each other.

Will try to think of more. Yes these are out there, but hey you gave no guidelines.
