Picasa Web Albums vs. Flickr

I am wanting to invest in a photo hosting/sharing service. I currently use, and like very much, Picasa for my photo management. So I've been leaning towards Picasa's service.

However, I know that Flickr is really popular and such, so I feel I should at least find out what all the fuss is over. Is there any killer feature option that Flickr offers that would make looking at them a real option?

One thing that I'd like to be able to do, which I'm not sure if it is even possible, is host photos on PicasaWeb/Flickr and display them within my website to save on traffic load on my webserver. Heck, that may even be a bad idea...if so, let me know.

I like to use the website http://www.toptenreviews.com/ for a good reference on what all is out there and what can be used for what... check out what they say about photo sharing...

But just because a product is rated #1 on their site does not mean it is #1... just collect information on what you need and make your on choice from there.

Not sure the answer to your specific question, but I use both Picasa web albums and Shutterfly. They both work equally well IMHO and I see no need to pay for Flickr (I think you have to pay for Flickr right?).
