IT does not work with .PSDs

that pisses me off

What are .psd's?

Something proprietary?

Use jpg, gif, or png.

PSD is photoshops uncompressed file that saves layer information

it says it supports them, but im guessing only 8bit PSDs and not 16bit PSDs

Thumbs+ is $45 for the personal and $85 for the Pro. This is free. If you actually paid for thumbs+ you'd probably be changing your tune.

mrCide - ACDSee Classic is really slow compared to Picassa. At least for me. If you're talking picture viewing - then yes - ACD is better since you see the pictures directly. But if you want a program where you can see your photos all in one place, thumbnailed and downsized to fit into the window - Picassa is much faster.

zimu - suit yourself - it's your loss.

aircooled - it's kinda different from Irfanview.

Well, Irfanview is great for doing minor editing and stuff. I think Picasa does most of that too, but really its great for organizing your pictures. Like someone said, its basically an iPhoto for PCs. For free, you might as well give ti a shot. I like it so far.
