I saw it the other day on pics.bbzzdd.com, but now I can't find it.

It is quite humorous.

did you just now figure out that the South of the civil war and the South of today are the same place?

Actually, no, it's not. It isn't humorous at all. In fact, it's really grasping at straws. Half of those states weren't even states at the time. Idaho, North Dakota, and South Dakota are almost entirely within free territories. Indiana and Ohio don't match up. Iowa is undecided. Maryland was a slave state, and now it's one of the most Democratic states in the country. Alaska was full of Eskimos, but I guess according to this map, the Eskimos kept slaves in their igloos (or maybe they made them sleep outside.) And the total population of Kansas, Nebraska, Utah, and New Mexico territories probably didn't even add up to a half million people, including Indians. They were basically empty, so who cares if they were open to slavery or not? Gimme a freaking break.

Well, it could change; things get moved and misplaced all the time. ;)

I just want to see all the Bush lovers come in here and start crying or getting pissy.

I voted for Kerry, but it's still a stupid image. People are so easily swayed by pretty images and colored pictures.

I agree with you too, it's dumb. But there's always some that love him so much and take it personal that they start arguing over stupid stuff like this. And that's funny.

Meh, I think it's funny. One would hope that the average ATer is smarter than to take it too seriously.

Wow, it would be cool if Oregon and Washington are like they are pre-civil war.

Who needs Idaho anyway? :p
