Nowhere near what it could be, isn't the G3 a 4 MP camera?

Awesome pictures, that settles it. My next camera is a Canon G2 or G3.

<-- likes his Kodak DC4800 for what it was but wants to move on

the res is 2272x1704. It's around 1.5MB but i have to reduce the quality for the web

Aren't there a lot of complaints about the design of the G3? That is what is stopping me from wanting that camera.

so far, no complaints from me. Just got it a day ago too

:) i love this camera. The digital zoom is actually pretty clear

i'm getting a Nikon Coolpix 5700 on Monday. I'll update on that too.

my main gripe with nikons is that they're not as user friendly and they're overpriced. but yeah, why 2 nice cameras?

are you a drug dealer or just one lucky sob how do you manage to set aside enough money for that camera plus that computer. etween the two that is almost 3 grand if bought new and self-assembled. then again i am 17 so i gues that seems like alot of money when it isn't that much. ok move on i am poor.

Because I always wanted the G3 because of the cool lcd, you can make it move in many direction. And the Nikon 5700 because it has 7x optical zoom. Maybe 8x, i'm not sure.

The camera is not for work. I always wanted a digicam. I could have save up and get a SLR but can't really afford the lenses.

The computer is worth more than $3000. Imagine 3 years ago, 3 - 9GB 10k rpm scsi hard drive with 8MB cache. 64 MB cache scsi raid controller.

no, i'm not a lucky sob, just work really hard for my stuff. No parents to help me out. They don't even live with me.
I have a $hity car though
