Back when I had my Sigma 100-300 f/4 EX I did moon shots at 300mm, F/8.0, ISO-400 and it was metering ~1/400s, which made shooting very easy. I had the tripod out and ready to go but I ended up not even needing it. The brightness of the moon was quite unexpected but actually not that surprising, if you think about it. And the shots turned out sharp as hell![]()
