Looks good man.

The biscuit thing looks pretty good to me. But I'm a purist and hopefully build my own furniture as most of the stuff looks nice but the build quality isn't as great imo. I think I could build better.

Taken DT since I was 12 till 16. I have always been good at building stuff.

Nice project, but I have a couple questions before you get too far. How are you going to get at the wiring behind it? Is it going to be on casters or something? I'm not kidding. You'd be surprised how often you have to get at those wires.

Am I seeing putty on the front of the pine? You really can't get stain to take evenly over that. If you're just filling nail holes, wait till the stain is applied before the putty.

I have the back of the wall down to the studs behind the cabinets (to install the outlets). I'll leave big access panels to the back of the spot for the TV and the rest of the components.

The holes are for tiny little brads, so hopefully won't be too obvious since they're small. I've already applied and sanded the wood filller, so it's too late to undo it. :eek:
