well.. they can prefer "darkest" over blackest... but the oath has blackest for a reason... it refers to the Fall of the Green Lantern Corp event.. which was played out in Blackest night.

I know, but some people worry about PR at times when they should not be.
 
If I recall, he has to charge the ring in some sort of lantern shaped device. Or his father was a lantern and his mother was a nightstand.

Gotcha, didn't know this part. So does the entire comic revolve around people trying to either get his ring or take the lantern so he can't recharge?
 
As far as weakness to yellow goes, GLs hasn't had problems with yellow in comics for well over a decade now. Also, the constructs they make with the ring don't have to be green, they can will it with their mind to be anything- any shape, form, color, can translate any language, whatever. Anything that can be thought of, the rings can do provided the wearer has enough willpower (they have even been known to talk on occasion). Essentially the rings are the most powerful weapon in the universe.

hmm might go see it. not a DC fan but teh recent arc was good. The movie looks pretty good too.

i can't wait for his deadpool movie. that should be good.
 
WB/DC is dumping tons of money into this. They're trying to turn green lantern into the next batman/superman.
