This is the kind of product I've been waiting for. Let's hope it does everything it says it does over an extended period of time with few or no mistakes or problems. Time will tell when many users with different setups start using them and finding out. Good find, thanks.

Well, I can tell you that its little brother, the LF-D321 works fine, but this drive only does 1X DVD-RAM, 1X-DVD-R, and doesn't support burning of DVD-RW, CD-R, or CD-RW.
