im sooo lost. wouldnt any of the higher range single cards destroy that thing? 7900gt, 7900gtx, x1900xt/x, x1800xt, not to mention 7950gx2. whats the point?
 
I like the idea of 2 chips on a board so long as power and heat requirements are in check. However, I'm not too happy about Quad-SLI being unavailable to us and even then, it seems like performance gains are kinda crappy, IMO.
 
Cons:
- Not compatible with all mainboards
- Limited overclocking

The price would cause an heart-wrenching attack.
Many SLI users will continue to use their Nvidia cards.
 
the board looks kinda cool.It reminds me of the dual 7800 gt.Ya know i was wondering why nvidia couldn't do something like that instead of putting two seperate pcb's together.
But the sad thing is that the dual x1600 xt will cost around $400 but won't give as much performance as a x1900 gt.(or will it?)
I can't wait for dual x1900 xt's or dual x2xxx(R6xx)!!
 
Whats the point? the 7950GX2 makes sense.

But this can be out performed by a 240~ 7900GT. The GT already consumes less power then the X1800GTO to boot as well.
I think this is quite stupid, as R570 and R560 will hit the market soon.
