Scared to admit that I'm beginning to get used to that new look. I'm sure Lutz will get those engineers producing some sweet designs soon, though.

Meanwhile, GM?s Performance Division continues work on the aggressively tuned V-Series CTS that will come with a 400-hp 5.7-liter V8 when it arrives in early 2004. While we?ve reported the V-Series performance car strategy may include a hot version of this summer?s XLR roadster (AW, Sept. 23, 2002), sources suggest the SRX sportwagon, due this fall, will get the V treatment as well.

They could've had a hit with that car design-wise, but they were off the mark with the final product.

The CTS is one of those cars that looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures, at least to me.

And I think it looks good in pictures.
