*PIC* New Antec p160

Looks cluttered ... although it probably looks better in person than on Newegg. Interesting that the front ports are on top instead of the more common bottom.

Holy crap! Noooooo! Don't tell me Antec, the last holdout of high quality conservative styling, is going the route of this tacky trend... :| I hate cases that look flashy like this. At two years old, my SX-1030B keeps looking better day after day.

I disagree, the antecs (excluding the new lanboy) seem to evolve but are still not tacky. If you want an example of force evolution resulting in tackiness, take a look at some of enermax's cases. THOSE are tacky.

i like it

it's nice to see the connctions at the top.

it is a bit flashy but not riced

but then i have never spent more than 40.00 on a case.

Seems tacky to me. The case is nice but the chrome looking crap just looks dorky IMO. Hard drive cage is nice, as is the 92mm or 120mm or whatever size it is fan opening in the back.

I think it looks great with the exception of the venting around the front bezel. It looks the internals were well designed with good airflow (120mm fans r teh win). I also like the built-in drive covers on the front.

At least it doesn't look like the new lanboy!

They're going down the wrong road. The simple, well built, functional cases were the best. These new rice cases are gimmicky and ugly. They look like a 70's conversion van.

I really like the front audio connectors though. Now they just need to add a little volume control knob for the mic in and headphone out and I'd be sold. 🙂

I was going to pick the P160 up when I first saw it but couldn't wait, ended up with a Sonata.
