Sweet man, fender strat?

Sort of. It was originally a 70's Japanese reissue but I replaced the entire neck because I love big fat frets. So it was replaced with a Warmoth neck with 6100 fretwire (the biggest you can get). I then replaced the pickups with Dimarzio HS-3's which are ultra low output single coils with dummy humbucking coils to reduce noise. I then decided to scallop the 12th fret and up. Basically a frankenstrat with close to Yngwie/Blackmore specs.

Dude, you KNOW I'll own Kirk anyday even on his own stuff!
Hmm... I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but incase you're not..

bwhahahahaahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahah

that's a good one, hahahahaha.

Seriously though, if you are that good, why aren't you in a bad that everyone knows about? If you really believe that(and its true..), you should be.

you look a little bit like james iha w/the long hair and white strat

Funny thing. He used to live near my apartment and I bumped into him several times on the street, in restaurants etc. Exchanged weird looks all the time but never said a word. I hear he's a major geek.

I'm really not kidding. Kirk is quite an awful player..but let's not get into that again. If you think I'm full of it, that's fine, it doesn't bother me at all as I know there are thousands of guitarists that can put me to shame without even thinking about it.
I did the band thing for a few years but it just wasn't my thing. The style of music I enjoy playing isn't really popular and won't get the band gigs. I'm mostly into rock/metal/neoclassical/funk fusion with a bit of a progressive edge when it calls for it.
Anyway, instead I played shortly as a session guitarist for music that needed me. It's just a hobby now although I do some digital audio consulting..

edit: Actually let's just say I'm a pretty good copy-cat without much in terms of innovation. That leaves me as a crap guitarist : )

Nice!

Here's a couple pics of my guitars, if anyone cares 🙂

My Martin 000-15 and Fender MIM Strat:
1

A couple of Squiers that I got new for $200 each (just sold the bass):
2

I'm always drooling over new gear but at my skill level I think I should stick with what I have for a while. I plug into a V-Amp Pro, which is connected via S/PDIF to my PC
