I had a copy of the killing kittens picture up on my site, and a few Myspace pages linked to it. Normally I don't mind if someone links to a picture/flash game from my site, but I simply dislike anybody who uses Myspace. I replaced the picture with a rather nasty one, but then took the time to find the Myspace pages linking it, and realized that the people who owned those pages probably wouldn't be disturbed by what I put up there.
 
How is this violent?

And how can this guy threaten with legal action when he is using someone else's images for monetary gain?

We need more background info on this.

Even they should be able to draw a parallel to a non-digital situation. They're using a service someone else established and paid for, without permission, and expect to have the right for uninterrupted, free use of said service.

Exactly. More funny would have been an email along the lines of

OMFG U HAXORCIZED MY INTERNETS I SUE YUO!

He should just replace it all with meatspin.gif 😛
