PI, FBI, local PD, or just some nut?

First, the guy comes in some business clothes, asks one of the employees to see if so-and so works there. The guy would quickly show a badge (fake or not, I don't know, the employee who saw it couldn't tell, and it was shown too quickly). Employee says the guy who works @ the place is not there, and the shady guy asks multiple times "are you sure??"

the same guy comes back, but in gardener clothes, then in raincoat clothes, then in begger clothes.

wtf? as my friend can't tell who he is?

I suggested that cops should be called when he comes back again, but I don't know about California laws on people loitering around outside businesses. The guy will never come inside. he'll just loiter around outside for a few minutes, ask for the same guy over and over again, then leave.

wtf?

the person that the shady guy's been asking for has been already convicted of tax evasion. friend didn't tell me if he still works there or not, even though I asked if he really does or not.

sorry that I don't have enough information, but I guess if more people asks for it, I can get more updates when I can on this situation.

Sounds like a crappy enforcer trying to collect a debt.

oh hmm. ya, my friend said that the guy they were looking for was in some CC debt as well. hmm, could be, but why harass where they work? it's pissing off the other employees, not to mention the owner, lol.

but ya, can any charges be implemented? as Loke mentioned, loitering, harassment, and impersonating an officer. hmm.

I would recommend calling the PD - let them determine whether or not any charges can/should be filed.
