Okay so we all know and love PI.

I want to know if there is any number set that can bring PI close to a properly divisible, non-repeating number. Even if it is a theoretical base with no practical application.

lol, actually i have seen it both ways. I tried to prove it doing the easy fractions method, and the math prof said that unless I could prove it using only variables, it wasnt a proper proof. He went on to say that .9999... =1 went against some sort of "law of limits".

All I know is I don't really care. I am an engineer and as long as its within 2% i am happy.
