hi! I am new here .. nd doesnt know much about physx .. I have an spare 9800 gtx with garbage problem.
my question is can I use it as physx in second PCi express slot .. ??

garbage problem?

anyway, it's almost never worth it to have an old card do physx, new cards can do it better, even if they also have to run the game. Getting it to work if you have an amd card render the game is a hassle with hacked drivers.

this is going to be fun. what the heck do you mean by "garbage problem"?

and the rest of your specs matter too. a 9800gtx would help out a system with on older slower gpu such as a gtx470 or slower. if you have something like a modern gtx670 then a 9800gtx will do nothing for you and would actually be slower than letting the the gtx670 do both graphics and physx in most cases.

^this^

I even tested my old 560TI with a 9800GTX+ and in some cases there was a slight advantage in others it was less than with just the 560TI. Not worth the extra power draw in my opinion. Never needed a 2nd PhysX card since the 560TI.
