PhysX on my 8800GTS 512... now what games do I play?

Ok... so I got the leaked vista64bit 177.35 CUDA enabled driver installed thanks to laptopdrivers2go.com (not the 177.39 as it is hard to come by... but shouldn't matter),
as well as the leaked physX 8-06-12 with GPU support... and I am able to play the physX demos fine...

But what do I do with it? Any game recommendations where I can put these babies to the test?

Good question. You try these?

I'm going to try it on Mass Effect. Not sure whether to go from 177.35 to 177.39, though.

Thanks for the link...
Any suggestions for good games from the list? ones where physX is especially impressive?

and how do you enable physX on mass effect? I don't see any physX options in there...

Sorry, it looks like im behind the times.

They have enabled Physx on Nvidia cards without actually having a seperate Physx card?

According to the BIOEngine.ini (in the Config subdirectory), hardware PhysX support is enabled by default. I suspect this may be true for most (all?) UE3 games.

mmm. I see now that I can increase my texture quality to very high (from high)... but I don't remember if I disabled it because it took too much, or because I wanted to force 2x AA in driver (which I no longer do)
Or maybe it is because of the 177 driver optimizations that give more performance accross the board regardless of physX.

I am not gonna replay the game to look for higher quality explosions though.. UT3 seems like a good bet as I haven't played it yet.

That list is bogus. Only a handful of those titles support hardware acceleration, the rest are software only. That's a list of every title using PhysX, not every title with hardware acceleration. AoE 3 isn't accelerated, Robobliz isn't accelerated, Gears of War, Gothic 3, etc.

Edit: If you want a good list, this is the best one I know of. 15 titles are out that support PhysX hardware acceleration:

Auto Assault
Bet on Soldier (all)
Cellfactor (all)
City of Villains
Infernal
Shadowgrounds Survivor
Stoked Rider: Alaska Alien
Switchball
GRAW 1 and 2
UT3
Warmonger

Thanks virge, that is what I was looking for. excellent list, I will try some...

EDIT2: forced 8xQ AA and blue screened in mass effect.. ouch.
