Hello there my wonder buddies :D I was curious. I found a $40 gts 450 at my store. I am running dual 7870 oc'd and I really want physx! So I am doing hybrid physx but is a gts 450 enough like I want as many fps as I can get! :) I found some 650's at my store is it really worth the improvement? If we are talking 20fps+ then I am really for it.

Cheers and I hope for some positive answers.

A single GTS 450 is still more than enough for a dedicated PhysX card. Though I'm not sure what the state of hybrid configurations is these days since officially using an NV card like that alongside an AMD card is not officially supported.

the gts 450 is overkill for physx, i have a gt 430 and when i am running borderlands 2, the highest usage on my 430 is 80% and i have 2 6850's crossfired running the 430 hybrid physx. also, make sure you remove the physx file so you can actually turn it on.

side note, the only advantage the gtx 650 would have on the gts 450 is power consumption, so maybe getting a 600 series card would be worthwhile if you are worried about your PSU. the difference would be pretty minor though

Sorry about the long wait XD Hmm so a 430 can do it? But didn't hybrid physx make physx card run at 80%? And thanks so I can go with it but is there a considerable difference in fps from the gts 450 to gtx 650 for physx? But I will probably go with a 450 atm as its only $39 and a 650 is 120 at my store XD I don't really have a budget but I am not a fool either XD
