Cryostasis is a whopping $6.50 on gamersgate.com this week. If you've never heard of it, that's because it came out of Russia, wasn't hyped nearly as much as Stalker, and it's single-player only.
Of course the game doesn't require an Nvidia card, but it uses tons of hardware accelerated physx for nvidia owners and looks pretty damn good. Be warned though, if you purchase and plan to play with the physx effects cranked up you absolutely need a gtx 260 216 or better for smooth gameplay.
