Odd. First they say:

PhysX FluidMark can run in pure software mode (all calculations are done on the CPU), or in hardware mode. Hardware mode includes 2 kinds of hardware:

* Ageia PhysX PPU
* GeForce PhysX - GeForce 8/9/GTX200 graphics cards only

Then they go on to say:

PhysX FluidMark requires the PhysX driver 8.08.01 or higher to be installed. You might need also the CUDA DLL if you don?t have a GeForce 8/9/GT200 with Forceware that support PhysX or if you don?t have a GeForce at all (Radeon users for example).

So does it require a GeForce card or can it run on a Radeon card as well? They seem to be contradicting themselves here.

Doesn't seem to work with my pc, just getting blank screen. Also UT3 physx no longer works since the update 177.83, but the rest of the demos work fine including warmonger. Guess going to have to wait till 177.84 comes out.

I think in the 2nd quote they're just saying you need that Cuda DLL if you don't have a Geforce card, which will then run in software mode. I think for hardware PhysX you still need a PPU or nV GPU.......I think. :)

I've been running benches for the past hour on UT3 using 177.83's with various configuratioins. Works fine.

Doesn't work for me vista 64, but as soon as I disable physx it loads fine. Also I'm not the only one having this problem.

Ah, thanks. I thought maybe they'd gotten hardware PhysX officially working on Radeon cards.
