if one has a shiny countertop and he or she looks at the countertop at a very very steep angle to the point they see a very nice reflection of part of their kitchen, is that angle of refraction?

refraction would be a shift in the resulting image....is there a shift?😀

When a ray is passing from one medium to another, the angle of refraction is the angle that the ray makes with a line perpendicular to the boundary between the mediums while traveling through the second medium.
