I''m doing predental as well, and I can't imagine how this is relevant to the field. Unless I want to know how long it takes for a tooth to drop to the ground from a patients mouth. Useless bs.

maybe because they dont want you to be a narrow minded mental midget? being well rounded is a good idea.

IMO, nobody should be able to call themselves a college graduate without at least a semester of newtonian physics. I can understand not taking relativity, quantum theory, or even waves but newtonian mechanins is just too important in building an understanding of the world around you.
