Come on man, this homework was pretty easy, and I like arguing physics. If being a woman could get someone to do my homework tonight, that'd be impressive, and I'd be sure to try it next week 🙂.

Not even a women could get me to do that. We're just starting waveguides, and only briefly touched on propogation modes. I don't like E&M.
Bah - E&M is easy. 😛
Now QED, that stuff will mess with your head.

Jackson is easy?

Yeah E&M is pretty easy. Sooo you want to do my homework for me? I'll find some pics of hot women while youre doing it 🙂.

Well, Jackson is a PITA, I'll grant you that. I was lucky if I could do one problem in less than 5 pages. But with E&M at least you have a nice complete theory and physical model to go off of.

Edit: Besides, the problems in that homework really aren't Jackson-level problems anyway.

If Jackson's E&M is easy for you, I think AT just stumbled upon the smartest member here.

EDIT: and that hw should be a breeze for you.

I was kidding around. I think we use Jackson for physics 722 here which is the grad lvl E&M class. And if its the book I'm thinking of, I didn't understand the first page of it when I checked it out at the bookstore. I'll check back in a year when I take that class though.

what a waste of time, quantum effects will really screw up the answer predicted by classical physics.

If the purpose of the problem was to really find the answer, then yes. If the purpose of the problem was to practice using the concept of moment of inertia, then not at all. Since it seems Lizabath needs the latter, it is not a waste of time.
