so now that we found the higgs boson, what ever happened to that theory of everything by that surfer dude? proved? disproved?
 
Basically it's all there in esun's links, but basically, the surfer dude's theory wasn't ever complete and it has a lot of problems with it. It still has potential, and it is interesting, but it just isn't very well developed yet.

I seem to recall it did have the Higgs as one of the vertices in E8 somewhere, but can't recall for sure.
