I am currently trying to fix a friends PC. He is running an AMD 1800+, Epox K9AI mobo 512MB kingston DDR333, and 80GB WD and a Geforce 2 Ti. Windows will randomly dump his physical memory, IE is particuarly bad at this as it occurs much more frequently in IE than in anything else. Can anyone provide me with some ideas to why this is occuring and how to fix it.

Get the STOP code and the numbers in parentheses.

These numbers can also be found in the system event log, in an event logged by Save Dump. It will say the system is recovering from a bugcheck, the bugcheck was <lots of hex numbers>. Give us the hex numbers.

A blue screen is almost always caused by drivers. What drivers have changed recently?

(BTW, IE will have nothing to do with the problem.)
