Physical evidence might show Roger Clemens took steroids.

So some guy kept vials, syringes and pads for seven years. LOL

But, for some reason he never told the investigators of this evidence?

This reeks of bullshit. Sounds like he has been setting Clemens up for years...

Why wouldn't you believe McNamee? He was right about Petite (admitted), he was right about Chuck Knawbloch (sp? admitted)

I am not saying it doesn't sound weird but why would he lie? He had immunity if he told the truth, which is what he did. Didn't you hear the convo Roger recorded? His kid is sick.

I initially thought that this was a bs witch hunt, but McNamee has been dead on and if this evidence is found to be valid not only is Clemens never getting in the hall of fame, he is going to be prosecuted for perjury AND McNamee is going to sue his pants off in court.

It actually makes sense. The guy is an ex police officer and knows how the system works. He knows that blood and DNA is what these people like to see.

IMHO, if Roger comes out and admits he took stuff, this shit never sees the light of day. If he tries to drag his (McNamee's) name through the mud, it's time to get dirty.

I mean two other players confirm McNamee's accounts of giving them the stuff. So obviously the guy is at least semi-credible.

...or that it's a last-ditch effort to discredit Clemens' reputation. The article states that the accusor is a known liar and could probably be fabricating evidence.

Personally, I think it's just a freaking witch hunt. Who cares if athletes take steroids? I don't buy the roll-model for kids garbage, and they're just entertainers, like actors, so what does it matter if they want to bulk up with roids? What a waste of time and money, this witch hunt is.

I think he's innocent though.

Why wouldn't I believe that a trainer for a team might not have inside knowledge of players using Steroids when he has first hand experience with the players and is bound to have heard or seen things in the clubhouse?

Or, why wouldn't I believe that a trainer would keep bloody needles, pads and vials for 6-7 years?

Why is it not possible that he has something with Clemens blood/spit/DNA on it and is simply putting the DNA on a used syringe and pads?

Why exactly would someone keep "evidence" like that in the first place? Was he planning on setting Clemens up for something? Was he blackmailing him? We're talking 7 years here!!! It's not sane and it's either fabricated evidence or he was planning something all along.

Why hold on to the evidence for this long? The investigation originally started in 2005. Why didn't he come forward with it then? Why didn't he provide it when he was questioned? Doesn't logic dictate that if they ask, you say "yes and I have proof". WTF. You don't sit on evidence and withold it from a federal investigation?!?!

It's dumb to just believe it.

ah gotcha. the way you said it (if he drags his name) made it sound like you hadn't heard about the whole possible perjury thing.

amazing enough there is time to do both. and hopefully the kid with the 8th won't end up creating a domestic disturbance or killing someone later in life for crack money if he's stopped a young age.

That's a previously-existing personality disorder the weed is stimulating. It's common in 'tards.

eh. the 1% of people who do drugs and maintain a somewhat normal life is not the majority. sorry.

regardless, steriods are illegal for a reason. nobody should be above the law, including athletes. earn your 20 million dollar pay check the old fashion way, talent and ability, not performance enhancing drugs.

Because you're apparently as stupid as he is? Sure, the Feds are asking questions about the use of steroids in baseball.

It never occured to me Mr. Fed to give you evidence I've been saving for 7 years as proof that a baseball player is using steroids, When you're asking me about steroid use. WOW, what? I'm a darwin award winner?!? Thanks Mr. Fed!!!!

Seriously, are you dumb?

What exactly did Knoblauch confirm?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22940684/

He didn't confirm anything? He wouldn't speak about what he said or what he was asked.

Do you have any answer on why he kept all of that for SEVEN years and never told the Feds when asked?

The only one stupid is you. Or you're just very naive. Don't be so sensitive. You sound like a fragile daisy.

Why would he still have stuff lying around? He's a trainer who's been involved with the stuff for a long time. He probably still has a lot of left over trainer stuff, equipment, etc.

He probably has stuff from Pettite, Knoblauch, etc.

And read your link again. If he didn't do it, why wouldn't Knoblauch deny it?

From another source:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02...partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

Chuck Knoblauch emerged smiling from 90 minutes of closed-door testimony before House oversight committee lawyers on Friday, carrying his 3-year-old son and appearing to acknowledge that assertions that he had used human growth hormone were true.

?It is what it is,? Knoblauch said when asked by reporters about being identified in the Mitchell report as a user of H.G.H.

I'm skeptical about this too and don't see how it's going to stand up to the barrage that Clemens' lawyers will unleash.

Clemens already has himself set up with the B-12 and Liiiiii-docaine defense, even a videotape of McNamee poking him in the ass wouldn't mean anything.

We're still talking about the steroids, right?
