when i was there (but this was in april a few years ago and i went on a tour) i did some parasailing, my cousin went scuba diving, and i just lounged on the beach.

I'm jealous, I been to Thailand 3 years ago. But next year March I'm planning a trip to Japan with my girlfriend. Woot!
 
Just remember, if they are tall and look like models, run. Unless that's your thing of course. Some of those katoey can get pretty agressive too, so watch your wallet, etc.

To be honest, I thought everybody went to Bangkok to "rent" girlfriends. I'm going on this trip my wife and now that I've done my "research" I'm thinking that she'll not want me out of her sight when we go out on the town.
