PHP blog/news script?

Does anyone know of a good PHP Blog/news kinda script. Basicly I need it so that multiple users can log in on diffrent logins and post news or diary entrys. These entrys will be displayed on the main page, and then there will be a link to archived entries n stuff...any idea? also it would be nice if each entry on the main page is shown only like 200 words, then the rest u have to follow a link to go to...?

I recommend MAMBO. Better yet, wait a couple weeks until the new version (v4.5) comes out.

Test the different CMS softwares out here.

Why use a whole CMS for just a blog/news thing?

Sounds like movable type would be a good fit.

Yeah it seems like these CMS thingies are a bit too much for me...i looked around my cpanel and saw "B2" a blog script and it seems to satisfy my needs execpt for one thing...are there any blog scripts that alow you to upload images rather then only link them in using html?

yea, for his description, i'd go with movable type. i'm playing with mambo and and tiki. i don't like tiki at all. mambo is kinda hard to config a little. but movable type does what he wants.
