How to use them?
I have installed php triad but still files with .php are still note pad files

How to install php nuke?

Not sure how you are set up but I would recommend installing something like XAMMP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html) - so you have a web and DB server to play around with (both are key if you are messing with PHP). Your current issue of .php being notepad files sounds like it's just a filetype association issue, try associating .php with whatever editor you want to use (or with your browser). On the subject of editors - ConTEXT is a really good free one and has decent highlighting built in (and downloadable plug-in highlighters).
