I know I know a little off-topic but no one is replying in Software forums

i need to get photoshop associated with image files, jpg, bmp and all, i cant figure it out through photoshop or from windows, please help

Windows Explorer -> Folder Options -> File types..set them at your leisure.

But i wouldnt recommend associating it with jpegs cause then you gotta open up photoshop just for an image...

Hold shift and then right-click on the JPEG image. Choose "Open with..." and then pick Photoshop from the list of apps. Check the box to always open JPEGs with Photoshop.

But yeah, like yobarman said, doesn't it suck to have Photoshop open all your JPEGs by default.

I created a shortcut to Photoshop on my Send To menu so I can easily do it when I want to edit an image.

Thank god for the WinXP Picture and fax viewer! :)


You can quickly open pics for preview by double-clicking, and still have them associated with Photoshop.
