Photoshop work, what do you think?

What do you think of this as a header for my new site (text added later). A LOT of work was done to modify the original images. What do you think of what I have so far?

pretty cool, but, it doesn't exactly jump out at you. What colors are you putting behind it?

hell if I know, I'm colorblind (well, partially).

The center earth image started out as a bright blue. I was thinking of leaving just a tad of that in there.

I will say that if you are putting text overtop of that then it won't be worth the time because you probably won't see much of what is behind it, especially with those light grey tones.

Never really was a fan of the muted/faded/blurred look. I like color and detail.

Site name will go above while navigation will be below (imagemapped). And I don't have the site done yet, still working on the design.
