on both pograms nothing beats sitting and just messing with stuff. nothing will ever beat experience.

I second what Bluga suggested.

Adobe has their own line of books called 'Classroom in a Book' for their products.

These are the same books many people PAY to read through in Training Seminars.

I have the classroom in a book book heh its pretty good

I also took a class on 3d Studio and was probably the most useless class ever. I still have the book from the class.

blah I don't have the time anymore to sit down and learn a whole new program through trial and error, I've got lightwave and Bryce3d down fairly well. Plus I want to learn how to write my own cool little filters for 3d max
