Photoshop - Save for Web Script?

Hello all. I currently need to use photoshop's "save for web" feature on about 3000 tiff's in a folder. Is there some way to automate this? I know there is a way to record a macro and proform it on each picture in a directory, but since save for web is "external" to photoshop, I'm fairly sure that method will not work.

I think you can set the compression level with the regular save option, and then run an automated process, telling it to save the files.

If that doesn't work, try downloading Irfanview. It's a basic image viewer that supports batch operations too.

If you want something more basic, try ImageMagick. It can resize images via command line. I'm currently using it to resize and compress 40,000+ jpgs. My thread

Thanks for the info. I was being really dumb and didn't realize plain old "save as" had all the options that "poreview for web" did buried in the menu.
