photoshop question/challenge, maybe even 3DS/bryce

is anyone on here good enough to...

make a semi transparent "fiber cable" which looks 3d, and bends a few times, with the end of the cable facing outwards.

this will be to add onto my banner, contact me if you have anyquestions.

they will end at the lens flares, each one, the dimmer ones being smaller, and seemingly deeper. if anyone can i would appreciate it. or if you could give me a tutorial on how to do it myself. o yea, they will start at the bottom right of the image, bend a few times, maybe cross over. 3D would be a plus.

whitish, semi translucent, sorta like glass. maybe with light reflecting sorta glowing the wire.

I can probably do it. Although, I do not know how to render on a transparent background, so, you'd have to do some hardcore photoshopping to get it in there.

wouldnt you just put a neon plane in the background (green/pink/something) then set that color to transparent in photoshop?
