Photoshop Lite?

Photoshop has always taken a long arse time to start up, ever since I can remember. It seems like it loads all these different things I probably don't need. Is there a way to make it boot up faster? Thanks.

chances are unless you're doing something extremely in depth... you can just use imageready which loads a lot faster.

If you have a lot of plug-in it takes a while to load Photoshop. Remove any plugin that you never use. Or get Quad core cpu

Imageready is a piece of crap for actual image editing work. You don't need to go very "in-depth" before its shortcomings start becoming extremely obvious.
